Billy Hickey is a Grammy-nominated recording and mix engineer based in the Los Angeles area. He has worked with a diverse range of chart topping artists such as Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Usher, BLACKPINK, Lana Del Rey, CNCO, Juice WRLD, Nick Jonas, RZA, Paul Banks, Social House, Afrojack, and Patti LaBelle to name a few.

After graduating from Middle Tennessee State University, Billy began his career in Washington DC where he recorded a wide variety of acts ranging from rock, hip-hop, jazz, classical, and even DC’s own “go-go”. When Billy moved to Los Angeles, he began working at The Record Plant recording studios. There he rose through the ranks from runner to assistant engineer and ultimately staff engineer. During that time he gained meaningful experience, forged meaningful relationships, and began working with many of the music industries top artists and producers that he continues to work with to this day.

Billy loves working with artists to help them create their very best records. He creates an inspiring and comfortable environment in the studio for artists to capture their best performance and sound imaginable. For the records Billy mixes, he works with the artist to ensure that their vision of their records is best served, while giving the listener something unique and almost tangible to listen to.
